Senior Go Developer Role in Fintech
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our team and lead the backend development
of a new mobile application in the Fintech domain. This is a unique opportunity to build a
product from scratch and shape its architecture, infrastructure, and scalability.
You will collaborate closely with mobile developers, designers, and the product team to deliver a
secure, high-performance, and scalable backend system, with a strong focus on financial
operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services using Go
Develop and maintain APIs for mobile applications (iOS / Android)
Lead architectural decisions and define backend best practices
Build core fintech backend components:
authentication & authorization
payment processing
transaction history & ledger systems
Integrate with third-party services (e.g., KYC providers, payment gateways, banking APIs)
Ensure high standards of security,reliability, and compliance
Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
6+ years of backend development experience
Proven experience building backend systems for mobile applications
Strong experience developing systems from scratch
✅ Mandatory:
Hands-on experience in:
banking projects, neo-banks, or
payment systems / payment processing platforms
Deep understanding of financial transactions, payment flows, or ledger systems
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Solid understanding of system scalability and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience in Fintech products (digital banking, wallets, lending, etc.)
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.)
Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, NATS, etc.)
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
